Currently List

Happy Tuesday! It's time for another Currently List.

Watching: I will never get tired of watching Law & Order: SVU. It's such a great show and I still wish that Stabler was on the show. I prefer the older episodes, but I still watch the new episodes too.

Reading: As usual, I'm catching up on blogs. I'm almost done reading The Crossroads of Should and Must by Elle Luna. I'm still reading Sylvia Plath's journals as well.

Listening: I really like this song. I first heard it on the season finale of Teen Wolf. You can check the song out here.

Making: It's been over a week since I made any art, layouts, cards, or even journaling. Today I've been journaling and it feels really great.

Feeling: I've been feeling a bit all over the place and emotional, but don't worry...everything is ok.

Planning: I have to catch up on a few shows. I also plan to watch the season premiere of The Good Doctor. I'm so excited to see the first episode and even set my DVR to record it.

Loving: This time of year is amazing. One of the best things about Fall is the TV line up. Grey's Anatomy is coming back on Thursday. The third season of Lucifer premieres on October 2nd and the thirteenth season of Supernatural premieres on October 12.

Currently List

Happy Tuesday! It's time for another Currently List.

Watching: John and I caught up on the latest episode of Rick and Morty as well as Teen Wolf. I also have to catch up on The Last Ship too.

Reading: As usual, I'm reading some blogs. I also just picked up a couple of books that I had on hold at the library. I can't wait to read Sylvia Plath's journals.

Listening: I love this song so much. It's been stuck in my head for days. You can check out the song here.

Making: I've been working on a few blog posts for the rest of this month and am already planning for October too.

Feeling: I've been feeling a bit strange, but I'm not even sure if strange is the best word to describe how I'm feeling. It's not a scary feeling so that's a good thing. I don't want to brag, but a lot of good things have been happening to me and I've been getting some great news lately so I've been feeling a lot of emotions. Have you ever felt just strange? Like you feel as if something really big and amazing is going to happen very soon?

Planning: I have so many projects that I need and want to finish. I have got to schedule some time to work on my projects. I also need to start working on one or two projects at a time instead of trying to take on four or five projects. I tend to work on lots of projects and then never finish most of them.

Loving: My notebook from Kristen Sgalambro arrived last week. I still can't believe that I won her giveaway. The notebook is absolutely adorable. You can check it out here.

Start Where You Are: Week-At-A-Glance Diary--Blogging for Books Review

Most of you may know that I am a big fan of planners and I'm so excited to share a review of this cute planner by an amazing artist. I am a fan of Meera Lee Patel's art and was so excited when I found out that she made a diary. Although it's called a diary, I think it's more of a planner. This is a undated weekly planner so you can start your planner on any month. The planner is small enough to fit in a bag or purse. The pages are a bit thin so you may notice some bleeding through the pages if you use a pen or marker.

I love that there are monthly pages at the beginning of each month where you can list your monthly goals, notes for the month, and important dates. The monthly pages also has some of Meera's art and quotes from famous people. At the end of the planner, there is a section for contacts and birthdays. There's also a section for world time zones and international calling codes, conversion factors, phonetic alphabet, and roman numerals.

Overall, I really love this planner and can't wait to use it. Although I already have a planner, I do think I have an idea for how I'm going to use this planner. If you use multiple planners, please let me know. I would love to get some more ideas.

Do you use a planner? Are you a fan of Meera Lee Patel?

I received this book from Blogging for Books in exchange for this review. All opinions expressed here are my own.

Currently List

Happy Tuesday! It's time for another Currently List.

Watching: I always watch 9/11 documentaries days before 9/11 as well as the day of the anniversary.

Reading: I've been catching up on lots of blog posts. I've been sick for over a week so I haven't been able to catch up on a lot of blogs.

Listening: My boys are so funny. I love hearing them tell jokes to each other.

Making: I'm still a bit sick so I'm making some more chicken noodle soup. I'm also making some grape jelly and BBQ sauce meatballs in my crockpot for dinner.

Feeling: I'm so grateful for my family and friends. They mean so much to me.

Planning: I found a ton of Fall recipes that I want to try. I'm so ready to start baking some yummy treats and using my crockpot a lot more.

Loving: It's raining and I love it. It's the perfect weather to just make some hot chocolate and read a book.

I Remember

I remember and will always remember. I am sure that this country will never ever forget about September 11. To this day, I still remember exactly what I was doing and where I was at. I still remember how I felt when everything happened.

This day always makes me emotional. I feel sad because so many people were injured and so many lives were lost. So many families were affected. It hurts to know that there were so many children who have to grow up not knowing their fathers. It made me angry to think of how people can just be so evil and have no regard for human life.  However, when I look back and watch videos and photographs of people helping one another, I think about how strong and united America is.

Today I plan to reflect on this day of history and remember those whose lives were lost. Today I plan to remember the heroes of September 11.

We will always remember.

"Remember the hours after September 11th when we came together as one to answer the attack against our homeland. We drew strength when our firefighters ran upstairs and risked their lives so that others might live; when rescuers rushed into smoke and fire at the Pentagon; when the men and women of Flight 93 sacrificed themselves to save our nation's Capitol; when flags were hanging from front porches all across America, and strangers became friends. It was the worst day we have ever seen, but it brought out the best in all of us."
